Travel Info

The OpMetBat M9 Meeting will be held at the INRiM's campus, Strada delle Cacce 91, 10135 Torino.

You can reach the old INRiM site from the city center in about 40 minutes.



1. Invitation letters

If formal invitation letters are required for visa/travel purposes, please email f.ferrareselupi@inrim.it or l.boarino@inrim.it providing your full name as in passport.

2. Travel restrictions


Green Pass

Effective from May 1, 2022, it is no longer mandatory to show a Green Pass to access businesses and services in Italy. Therefore, free access to local and national public transportation, bars and restaurants, shops, museums, theatres, cinemas, stadiums, gyms, spas, etc.


Use of masks

Until April 30th, 2023 the use of FFP2 masks remains mandatory only in hospitals and in health facilities, while it is no longer required on public transport and for access to indoor shows and sporting events.


However, the use of the mask in all indoor environments and in all cases of crowded outdoor events is highly recommended.

3. Leisure


MUSEO EGIZIO Tour

The Egyptian Museum of Turin is entirely devoted to Egyptian art and culture. It is also one of the most visited museums in Italy. It has the world’s second most important collection of Egyptian antiquities and is the most significant and largest museum of its kind outside of Egypt.


The cost is around €15 per person and attending delegates can purchase to tickets on the day via cash or credit card.
